It’s an understatement to say that 2020 has been a challenging year, particularly for many of you reading this. The impacts of COVID-19 have been immense, but we have united to face their challenges and your commitment, perseverance and genuine innovation have been extraordinary to witness.
The Culture Counts team has been no exception. I want to thank and celebrate their remarkable efforts over this period. A few of our 2020 highlights include:
- Our COVID-19 sector research and audience factor analysis, supporting the Australia Council’s cohort advocacy and our subsequent parliamentary submission.
- Establishing the Public Libraries Evaluation Network.
- The UK team‘s support of evaluating online events as part of the Impact & Insight Toolkit.
- Delivering Annual Reports for West Australian Ballet, West Australian Opera, West Australian Symphony Orchestra and Perth Festival 2020.
- Developing the Victorian local government cultural sector snapshot and dashboard for the Municipal Association of Victoria.
- Our National Touring Scan collaborative work with Merryn Carter, and East Bank Monitoring & Evaluation Strategy with John Knell.
- Our Development Team’s upgrade to Python 3 and Django 2 and delivery of Compulsory Questions and Experience Questions in the platform.
