Introduction

The Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) has partnered with Culture Counts to assist in the evaluation of projects funded for the 2025–2026 financial year.

Culture Counts enables users to measure and understand the cultural, social, community, economic, environmental, and quality outcomes of events and activities. The online survey platform and accompanying metric framework empowers organisations to make evidence-based decisions, driving better outcomes for audiences, staff, communities and stakeholders.

All OMI-funded organisations receive a complimentary Culture Counts subscription for their full funding term, which includes the following:

  • Free use of Culture Counts survey dashboard over the funding period, allowing the self-creation of unlimited surveys (valued at $1,500+GST per year)
  • A survey template with all OMI objectives/reporting requirements included
  • Access to all raw data collected in csv format (downloadable from the dashboard)
  • Access to statistics and charts in the online reporting dashboard (with the ability to download and share data internally and externally)
  • Initial consultation and training session to identify organisation requirements and cover best practice survey design and delivery techniques
  • Guided assistance with the first evaluation set-up

Funded organisations will also receive a report summarising the results of their funded event, subject to the evaluation requirements being met.
