Understanding workplace culture through a data-driven strategy can help improve organisational performance, employee satisfaction, retention and overall wellbeing.
Developed via extensive research and insights gathered working closely with clients, Culture Counts has added Workplace Culture as a new domain to the platform. For many organisations, culture is something that gets discussed but rarely measured in any structured way. This new domain provides the scaffolding to start measuring.
How does it work?
The Workplace Culture domain includes areas such as leadership, contribution, engagement, recognition and wellbeing. Respondents answer a set of statements by indicating their level of agreement, from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Responses are anonymous, which is essential for both the integrity of the data and the security of respondents. Some examples include:
- Our company values are effectively communicated and reinforced
- Teams collaborate well across departments or functions
- I receive acknowledgment for my contributions and achievements
- My current priorities and focus areas are well defined
- Our clients receive outstanding service and support
- I maintain a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments
Collecting this data consistently over time helps identify patterns and provides insight and context around key periods of change or growth. For example, you might notice that recognition scores dip after a period of organisational change. This insight can give leaders something concrete to work with, whether it is adjusting how feedback is delivered, redistributing workload, or having more informed conversations with their teams.
Who can access it
The Workplace Culture domain is available now to all existing clients on request. Fill out the request form to access the full domain list and receive the user guide.
Is the data protected
Yes. Before accessing the evaluation tools, clients agree to the terms of use, which are designed to ensure responsible data collection, safeguard employee privacy and promote best practice for employers. The Culture Counts platform is built to support the ethical and secure use of data, so both organisations and their people can feel confident in how it is handled.
What can you do the with results
Insights can feed directly into board and leadership reporting, supporting transparency and more grounded strategic conversations. The data also helps highlight the areas that are working well, not just what needs addressing.
